For the past 10 years the SFWMD in partnership with the local community, Broward County, Florida Atlantic University, Audubon Society, local municipalities and a host of environmental organizations has been working together to restore the river and to generate awareness of the North Fork's natural and cultural heritage.  Please take a close look at all the amenities that this area offers and be informed on current events.  Come visit the North Fork of the New River.
