Hi!  My name is Emily Nell Lagerquist and I am the Executive Director of The Kids Ecology Corps. Our mission is to inspire young people to make environmental action part of their everyday lives and in the lives of those around them. We are thrilled to be part of the North Fork initiative!  Recently, we collaborated with the South Florida Water Management District to develop an awareness package about the North Fork of the New River for young people in local elementary schools. Part of our ongoing commitment to restoring the ecosystem of the North Fork is to support the regular river cleanup activities from Delevoe Park. Please join us in caring for this little jewel of the Everglades in urban Fort Lauderdale.
