Now in its 8th year, the North Fork Waterway Cleanup is a collaborative effort of the Florida Atlantic Planning Society, The Wildlife Research Team, Broward Urban River Trails, and the Broward Environmental Protection Department. Every month, these groups gather at Delevoe Park at 9:00 a.m. to canoe the North Fork and collect trash that has accumulated along the waterway. The cleanup is concluded with a barbeque cook out, when everyone can relax and “trash talk.” The cleanups are a great way to connect with the local environment and each other. We hope you’ll join us for the next one!
