Debris collected just in a few days, mainly over one week-end

This past July the Fort Lauderdale Field Station in cooperation with the Broward Service Center staff were selected Team of the Month for developing a debris barrier to collect and separate debris (Styrofoam cups, bottles, etc. ) installed at the North Fork of New River.  This system was successfully tested a couple of weeks ago when after a week-end of heavy rain the system was able to collect two dumpster full of trash!  The local community that resides down the river in this area is very thankful!
